Bang To Rights Mr Bimpson

Jail & Bail for the Rainbow CentreFurther to my last post, I have now been arrested!  Bang to Rights, as they say – but all in the name of a good cause, of course.

The Rainbow Centre is a really terrific charity and they do some amazing work, being a centre of excellence for Conductive Education.   They inspire and support children with Cerebral Palsy and The Rainbow Centre - A Very Worthwhile Causeadults that have suffered with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families.

Help me raise some bail money on their (and my) behalf – click here.

Given that the plan was to arrest me at my office and that there are only two of us there, it seemed more appropriate that I get arrested somewhere a little busier. As I’m well known for networking, it seemed appropriate for it to happen at a networking event. Queue Business Builders Fareham-Business Builders Fareham-Solent LogoSolent, which is run by old friends Malcolm Archibald and Nigel Prior (some would say very old  :-D).

They had more than 40 people in the room and, in accordance with Malcolm’s wishes, we wanted to keep it a surprise – and a surprise it certainly was.

Thanks also to Rosie Hamilton-McGinty, whose speaking slot we managed to interrupt.

Anyway, enough of the intro, here are a few photos to convey something of what happened.

What Happens Next?

Now there’s a question.

The Rainbow Centre - A Very Worthwhile CauseThe great news is that money is being raised – over £6000 between the 6 of us, so far, and still climbing. If you feel at all inclined to help us and add to that total, just click here – or on any of the images, above, to go to our Giving Page.

And do watch out for a quick update in a day or two.

Thanks for reading and I hope it’s managed to bring a smile to your face.  If so, please share it with your network.

Have a great day and thanks to everyone that’s taken the time to make a donation and support this great cause,

Steve Bimpson
